Liebster Award

The Liebster Award is given to up and coming bloggers who have less than 200 followers. This a great way to connect with other bloggers and help spread the word about newer bloggers/blogs that we enjoy reading! In order for my readers to get to know me better, I am supposed to list 5 random facts about myself and answer the following questions from Designing Dee. So here we go!

1. I played soccer from age 4 through college and miss it every day (might be time to cave and join an amateur league)!

2. My husband was friends with my sister first :)

3. I love camping and just being outside in general. It makes me happy.

4. I have a fascination with the ocean...but swimming in it freaks me out!

5. I could watch reruns of Friends all day.

I am constantly doing DIY projects and was asked for simple tutorials a lot. I figured that it would be super easy to direct everyone to one location for detailed instructions, rather than trying to explain it on the spot! I also want to be able to look back on the memories that I document over the years and  prayers that were answered!

My favorite things about my blog is that it is a way to share my faith and relate to others. It is so easy to take for granted that I can share Jesus freely, when so many others cannot. As much as I love crafting and organizing, my faith will always be most important.

I am a ministry assistant by day! My hope is that my job, my blog and everything else are related in that I am using them as a way to show the love of Christ.

4. If there was one project or accomplishment that you’d like to complete what would it be?

Oh goodness...there are a lot of things I would like to accomplish. One thing I would like to do when I have the time/money is to completely flip a house!

MILK. Was that a serious question? Okay, let's be real...I love ANY kind of chocolate.

6. What do you do with your pictures? Are they organized? Do you print them and put them in albums, if so what kind?

I keep all of my photos organized on my computer. I have taken the time to make a couple of scrapbooks but unfortunately I don't enjoy it that much. It's a lot of work! I prefer to make photo books online and have them sent to me.

I could spend hours upon hours reading DIY and organization blogs...and sometimes do.

8. Which do you prefer, sweet or savory?

I have the biggest sweet tooth. No joke. It would shock you how quickly I can throw back some Oreos.

9. Do you have a guilty pleasure? What is it?

Again, desserts. And watching the Bachelor :)

10. What is the most challenging thing that you’ve had to tackle in respect to blogging?

I think the most challenging thing for me was my own expectation of what a "successful" blog looked like. Once I let go of all the rules, I started enjoying it so much more!
